April Weekend

 

 

 

We had fun last weekend when it got hot for the first time this spring. We took Alex to the pool where he tried out a little floaty raft with sun canopy. We were so excited to see what he did. He kind of just checked everything out. He didn't mind it at all, yet he really didn't squeal with delight either. All the other little kids in the 1.5 ft pool just loved him though! They kept coming up to him pointing & saying "Baby!" It's so funny!

All six little cousins (well, second cousins I guess) finally got together for a picture! Aren't they just so cute?! In the one where they're all looking to the right, Uncle Andrew was jingling some keys - great entertainment!

Alex' Blessing

 

 

 

 

Alex Paul's great grandpa Paul blessed him at church last Sunday. It was such a wonderful blessing and service, and we were so honored that so many of our family was able to make it there. Alex did real well during church, first playing quietly (whew!), then falling asleep in Derek's lap. It was a big occasion also because Alex great great grandma Ethel was there as well with all four of her daughters and all six of her great great grandchildren. Alex also got to meet his cousin Ali who's a couple months older than him.

At Grandma Kathy's Saturday

 

 

 

 

Alex had lots of fun playing with his Grandma Kathy, meeting his Great Grandma & Grandpa, and snuggling with Uncle Ryan, Aunt Julianna & Cousin Koen. No one got much sleep for a couple days, but we had a ton of fun!

Alex and his Papa wore matching outfits last Saturday! Of course it was my idea, but they looked so cute! Alex also enjoyed meeting his great grandpa and cousins. We miss everyone already!

Linda put together a wonderful brunch on Saturday, and so many of our family members got to come! Here are just a few shots of Alex with his Uncle Bruce & Aunt Diane, then Alex with all his cousins! So much fun! What I didn't get a picture of is all the yummy food we had too. I have a fond memory of the blueberry french toast! Alex just loved the gear toys on the refrigerator.

Alex and Koen got to know one another better - haha! I think Koen wasn't used to his mommy paying attention to some other baby, and definitely not used to a baby grabbing at him! Alex was happy to play in Koen's old exersaucer, and Grandpa Dale showed off his new digs.

Friday in Indiana

 

 

 

 

After a long but successful trip to PA Thursday, we headed to Dad & Linda's in Indiana. We spent a nice morning hanging out with Dad & Linda. They sure had fun with the baby! We then went to visit Jen, her brand new baby boy Parker, two girls Macey & Molly and mom Ronna. What a bunch of cuties! In the evening, Aunt Joyce came to meet Alex. He just loved her long hair, and she just let him play with it!

PA Trip
