4 Month Update
Alex celebrated his 4 month birthday on Feb. 16th! He's doing well, and we just love watching all the funny things he does. He learned how to squeal in a very high pitch & has been practicing that a lot. He also drools...a lot. He likes to roll from his back to his stomach, and he also seems to be looking at the pages more when we read him books. He went for his 4 month check-up and weighs 15 lb, 5 oz and is 26.5 in long. We've also been reminded lately that his little digestive system is very sensitive to mommy eating cheese, if even just a little bit. No pizza around here for a while longer! Right now the little guy is sleeping peacefully in the swing - what a cute little angel!

Weekend in Monterey
We had a great weekend in Monterey this past weekend! First, we went to Jackie's baby shower on Saturday & then walked around Fisherman's Wharf and the coastal trail. We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant on the water with Jackie, Rob & Callie. We then spent our first night in a hotel with Jr. & everything went pretty well! The exciting news this week is that Alex is rolling over all the time! He always rolls to his left, and when he gets to his stomach he just looks around & then wonders what to do next. It makes his momma a little nervous!
We went for a walk at Point Lobos (pictured) and then visited our friends Rip & Cristin. Luckily, we also learned Alex is a good car-sleeper, so our trip down & back went well. It was great to get out of the house, see friend & enjoy the beautiful weather after lots of rain lately!

The Knotts Family Visited!
John, Mandy, Travis & Luke stopped in Sunday morning on their trip from San Jose back up to Bend, OR. It was so nice to see them again & get to play with those cute kids! They look so big next to Alex. Little Lukey even showed Alex what he'll be able to do in a few more months, sitting like a big boy in the baby seat. What a nice treat for us!
