Alex was cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers in his new warm-up suit from Grandpa Dale today. Unfortunately they needed more than his cheering to win the game, but he was certainly their cutest fan! Also, Alex isn't allowed to watch TV until after he's 2, but he obviously doesn't know that yet as he was watching the football game & would cry when we shut it off! Haha!

Alex' Teddy Bear Outfit
Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas this year! We have Pop & Jo down from Olympia, WA to help us celebrate, and of course Alex has been the spotlight. It was fun opening all of the presents. Our family & friends were very generous...thank you all! Alex made cute little noises & squirmed his arms & legs when his Papa was opening his gifts (well, for a little while anyway). He got lots of books, cute clothes, and his mom & dad bought him a little seat!

Alex is 2 Months Old!
Alex is now 2 months (9 weeks) old, and today we visited the doctor. This big chunker baby measured in at 12lb, 15oz and 24 1/2 inches long! They say he's in the 90th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for length. His head circumference is in the 50th percentile though, so he has a disproportionately small noggin! We're such proud parents!

It's December Already?!
Time flies when you're having fun! This weekend we discovered how to use the Baby Bjorn carrier (very handy!) and dressed Alex in a new little outfit with sweater vest. He also wore a hand-made sweater & hat from Carol Emerick at church in Greensburg, PA. Mommy was also thrilled to go to her first yoga class in a looooong time while Daddy hung out with Jr. Saturday morning. Derek also took Alex to the grocery store and Target! Alex has become more vocal this week with little coos and shouts, and he smiles at us when he's in a good mood. Last but not least, I had my first experience with pumping and Alex actually ate from a bottle with no problems on his first try! We were thrilled, yet not surprised that he's a good eater considering his genes. :)
